Can I Afford This?

I understand that budgets big and small don't extend beyond the borders of the page they are written on, so this is how I make it lean:

At my usual rate, the sheer number of hours required makes an online PR campaign accessible only to big companies and fat wallets.  The rest of us have to use some good old-fashioned ingenuity, so this is what I have done:

I have not a single employee.  I used to have them, but not anymore because I have turned my work into a Virtual Online PR Firm.  Everyone I work with is a subcontractor, so I can say I have people.  And, they can say that I am one of their people.

In a virtual company, the people work from home, so there are no overhead costs to pay for such as rent, phone lines, and toilet paper.  There’s one saving.

We’re all responsible for our own benefits and taxes—another saving.  (Your cost is getting lower as I write.)

I hire specialists who want more experience in PR.  I’m not talking about my interns (but they are important too).  They don’t charge me as much so they can add to their experience.  Another savings.

I put in fewer hours per online campaign at my PR veteran rate.  I plan, strategize, coordinate, lead, and manage.  Even though everything has to be okayed by me, it’s yet another savings.

Can it get any cheaper?  You bet.  I have developed internal systems for information gathering and delivery that speeds up the process.  Okay, enough with the savings.

The final price tag?  $600-$7200 per month.  It varies by the size of the project and the length of the campaign. A WordPress complete setup is $550.

I suppose you could hold out for Oprah, but in the meantime, you need to get yourself out there.

My people and I would like to be your people.  Contact me and I’ll answer your questions.
