I am turning sixy this April, and have only been aware of Asperger Syndrome for the past three years. My wife began to do some online research, and we read some books which convinced us that I was definitely within the specturm. I was formally diagnosed two years ago and have been writing a blog on the subject from a personal point of view, for almost a year now. The words you spoke while driving really hit home.
